My primary responsibility was to understand our clients’ vision and goals, then collaborate with them to develop detailed product requirements. Once defined, I presented these requirements to the development team, communicated additional details, and successfully managed the software delivery process. My role included leading daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and client presentations, as well as handling general account management.
I also provided user training, technical support, and developed software-related documentation, including requirements and user stories. As needed, I supported clients in exploring commercial opportunities, assisting with tenders, marketing materials, and presentations for potential clients.
Additionally, I supported the CEO in new client acquisitions and chaired weekly project meetings to ensure alignment and progress across initiatives.

At Sage, my primary responsibility was to generate new leads and business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and building strong relationships with industry contacts. In addition, I was responsible for acquiring new channel partners and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. I joined as a Junior Technician in 2009 and was promoted to System Engineer in 2010, earning awards and recognition for my performance. By the end of 2010, I transitioned to the Stowe Data Bureau as a Call Analyst. In August 2011, I took on a new role as a Technical Sales and Business Development Consultant. During this time, I received the “Chairman’s Award” and was recognized as a top-performing employee within the organisation.
In this role, I was responsible for proactively sourcing new clients and developing business opportunities, as well as helping to shape product offerings that complemented the organisation’s offering. I maintained close communication with both internal and external stakeholders on business development initiatives and built relationships to a stage where they could be handed over to supporting departments. Additionally, I oversaw related projects, implemented new support models, and managed client handovers.
